May 25, 2006- Tallahassee Region Real Estate News The big bend Capital region continues to feel the effects of a softening real estate market where inventories of resale homes are plentiful and affordable compared to the national and for the average dual income family.
But in general, single income purchasers are snapping up townhomes and condominiums as fast as they can be built or converted from apartments. The speculators are still hopeful for even more bargains in the real estate market this year in Tallahassee MSA, Leon County, Gadsden County, Jefferson County and Wakulla County Florida. The market is notably dampened in Franklin County, the forgotton Copast region, where last year Hurricane Dennis wiped out hundreds of structures in Eastpoint and the Seafood District in Carrabelle and Eastpoint.
